Routing with both of these options is carried out using map data from OpenStreetMap (OSM). These options are by nature more restrictive than the standard By Bike option, so you may need to turn them off if you find that you can't auto-plot a route to your next point. On the plus side, the view from the top is stunning, on the downside, you’ll have to work pretty hard to see it. The course is pretty flat with very few undulations, that is apart from the sting in the tail as you climb Old Pale in the final miles. It’s a mixture of large tracks and forest singletrack.
